A brilliant Youtube Channel to learn an amazing range of funky dance moves – guaranteed to engage students of all ages. I would suggest that you run the link through a site like “Safe Share TV”  and then  access the video via a QR code just to make sure you didn’t k=get anything untoward down the side of the clip. – But so worth the effort

This app gamifies dancing. Its simple, fun, engaging, very funky and can be done wither individually or as a challenge against others.

Time to Move  &  Let’s Move

A very valuable series of Podcasts from the BBC that can be downloaded free to your iPad and used to inspire students to dance and move. Every podcast is based around a theme that can be integrated into your class program or enquiry units.

“Time to Move” is targeted at students between 6 and 8 land has topics like  “The Mad Tea Party” or “Ocean Fun” there’s even a three part sequence on  “Fruit and Veg of the World”.   “Let’s Move” is  for students between 4 and 6 and has programs that range from “The Smart New Shoes” from the Elves and the Shoemaker to “Safety First” . Using podcasts are a great way to harness the power of our iPads to support student learning.
