This Augmented Reality app is definitely AWSOME. Scan the trigger image to see a visually stunning 4D simulation of the human body come to life and float above the trigger image. Completely interactive and adjustable view of different body systems and the heart. A definite must have
This amazing free site works spectacularly on the iPad and allows students to see, manipulate and even direct the human body in 3D. It includes detailed information on parts of the body systems and the power to annotate.
I love this app and have used it with students from Foundation to secondary level. It is a 3D model of the human brain that students can rotate. They can look at each part of the brain and use the drop down menu to get further information.
Another great way for students to investigate the human body in 3D using virtual technology. In this app students can study the human skeleton, rotating and zooming in and out. tapping on a bone students can see the name of the bone (in Latin as well as English) and even hear it pronounced correctly
A wonderful virtual view of the bones in the human body from full size outside the body down to microscopic level. Best of all is that students can select to see healthy or broken bones and then they can even see it heal. Awsome.
In this app students can see 4 different views of the heart with optional labels. They can adjust the heart rate and easily see how the heart functions.
